Great Britain v New Zeland (+8)
Tony Smith's first selection as Great Britain coach is very interesting. Sam Burgess starts at prop and he is in for a fiery introduction to Test match rugby opposite Roy Asotasi, who is probably the best front-row forward in the world right now, and Fuifui Moimoi.
The Great Britain team is very solid in the forwards and the backs pick themselves, there aren't too many options available in those positions.
Going into this game you have to forget the All Golds win over the Northern Union last week. That side was very well marshalled by Stacey Jones, who isn't available for New Zealand. Ruben Wiki and Steve Pryce were also playing for them and the Kiwis don't have that experience to fall back on this time.
In their last full international New Zealand were heavily beaten by Australia at home but again you have to take that game out of the equation. They had a man sent-off in the early exchanges and then lost other key players to injury.
They are strong in the forwards for Saturday's game. Asotasi is all quality while Moimoi is one of the best runners of a ball in world rugby - but can't sustain it for long periods. Simon Mannering and Frank Pitchard in the back-row are very fleet-footed and can play wide or on the edge of the rucks. They are competitive in that department.
The problem for me is at half-back. Lance Hohaia and Thomas Leuluai are not seasoned enough against Rob Burrow and Leon Pryce. This is an area where the visitors could lack cohesion and it will effect them as they look to move around the park.
Britain have a good centre pairing with Keith Senior in good form and Martin Gleeson gaining confidence from a good performance last week. I think the home side will win this one and cover the start of eight points. They have a little more discipline to their game, will play a more regimented style with a greater structure than the visitors. There will be no frills but they will build pressure and slowly take control of the game.
New Zealand will have their moments, keep an eye on Epalahame Lauaki when he comes off the replacements bench as he is a very good attacking player with wonderful ball skills, but overall Britain look too strong. The players will be out to impress their new coach and Adrian Morley and Jamie Peacock are two players who will stand up and be counted.
I see the home side starting well and getting into a good rhythm. Close to the line Pryce is a major threat as he has a very good dummy and go on him. He can come up with something on the edge of the rucks where New Zealand may be a little frail.
With that in mind he makes plenty of appeal at 14/1 with Sky Bet to cross for the first try.
