BACK ROMA TO SINK VIOLA

By Derek Allen

Fiorentina host Roma live on the Sky Bet Player, and there’s no need to abandon our love affair with the Wolves – back the travelers to come out on top against the hosts here in Serie A.

Fior are licking their wounds after a 1-0 defeat against Inter in their midweek Coppa Italia semi final show down, but Roma are at the other end of the spectrum after beating Udinese to put them firmly in the driving seat in that particular match-up.

Francesco Totti returned there to captain the side to victory, and his input could prove influential once again, this time against a side that’s picked up just one point in its last three games.

The Viola may field new Brazilian boy Keirrison, but there’s no Adrian Mutu of course, while Felipe is also out suspended, so take them on by backing Roma at 2/1 with Sky Bet.

Elsewhere on the Player, Inter take on Cagliari, in what’s bound to be one-way traffic at the San Siro.

It’s true that Cagliari have been playing well lately, registering four draws and two wins in their last six outings, but a trip to tackle the Special One’s forces is no time to have a goalkeeping crisis, which is what the visitors have here, with both their top two out for this trip to Milan.

Back Inter to take full advantage of any weakness in Cagliari’s rear guard and back them to win 2-0 at 4/1 with Sky Bet.

Inter’s city rivals AC Milan are also in action at Bologna, and a draw could be the way to go there.

Milan have had plenty to worry about since that derby defeat recently, and last weekend’s 1-1 stalemate with Livorno hardly sets the pulse racing, something that can’t be said of the rumours circulating about the travelers holding three-day parties in the run-up to big games.

Bologna are wobbly for sure, but they haven’t lost in four games now, and are worth a bet to give Milan a headache or two here – back the draw at 2/1 with Sky Bet.
