Bettingzone's golf tipsters were in stunning form last week - with winners at 33/1 and 25/1 on both sides of the Atlantic.
David John made Angel Cabrera a confident headline selection at 33s for the European Tour's flagship event, the BMW Championship at Wentworth.
He'd said in his preview: "He may be incredibly frustrating and difficult to win with but Angel Cabrera can be relied upon to hit form big style at this time of year.
"That is why The Duck gets the vote for victory from a tip-top field at the BMW Championship at Wentworth.
"He holds a share of the course record (63), boasts a cracking overall profile when playing in the British Isles and seems impervious to the changeable climate."
The confidence was justified in style as Cabrera won by two shots to generate a whopping 123 points worth of profit for those who followed the Bettingzone staking plan.
And just a few hours later the double was landed in style as Justin Leonard claimed a wire-to-wire victory in the FedEx St Jude Classic in Memphis.
Our David Tindall had highlighted his chances at 25/1, reasoning: "The former Open champion has a fourth, a fifth and a ninth to his name in his last four visits here and although two of those were back in the 1990s they definitely help build the case for a Leonard win.
"The other plus is his useful showing last week when tied 26th at Colonial. Okay that was nothing special but it suggested an improvement in his play after some previous disappointments.
"Already a winner in 2005, Leonard may also enjoy the new putting surfaces given his outstanding record on the Bermuda greens of the Texas Open and impressive showings in Florida."
That added another 50+ points to the coffers to round off a memorable weekend.
Big prizemoney purses were on offer in both events but the victories of Cabrera and Leonard made little impact on the respective Money List betting.
Cabrera is a 20/1 chance with Stan James for the European Order of Merit while Leonard is not even quoted in Skybet's US Money List betting, such is the dominance of Vijay Singh, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.
