In Scotland this weekend, Kilmarnock entertain Motherwell in a repeat of last weekend's third round Scottish Cup match.
Killie won that encounter 2-0 and look decent value to repeat the trick here.
That victory made it a three successive wins for Jim Jeffries' side in all competitions and was indeed Kilmarnock's third successive win over 'Well at Rugby Park.
For Motherwell, it now means they have gone four games without a win. Terry Butcher's side have made a habit of going on winning and losing streaks this season and look to currently be in the midst of the latter.
Reflecting on last week's defeat, Butcher bemoaned his side's defending from set-pieces and that is sure to be something he has drilled his side on in training this week.
However there is little doubt Kilmarnock deserved that victory with top scorer Kris Boyd looking back to his best form.
Looking to the betting, Kilmarnock are an attractive odds against price of 5/4. Given they are as short as evens elsewhere this look particularly good value, even more so when you consider they were available at the same price last week.
Elsewhere, Hibs can continue their fine form when they travel to their West Lothian neighbours Livingston.
Last week's 2-0 win over Dundee flattered Jim Duffy's side with only poor finishing preventing a real thumping.
Indeed Hibs striker Gary O'Connor was their chief culprit in missed chances. However the signing of a contract extension is sure to boost his confidence and I suspect he won't let such chances go a begging this time out.
That win made it five games undefeated for the Hibees with an impressive four wins recorded. Confidence at Easter Road couldn't be higher right now and the Leith faithful will fully expect another victory here.
However, they will have to do so without skipper Ian Murray, who is suspended and there are doubts over playmaker Guillaume Beuzelin.
Livingston also enjoyed Scottish Cup success, defeating Morton 2-1 and enduring horrific conditions.
Despite this win, Richard Gough will not be entirely content as yet again his side failed to keep a clean sheet. Only two have been recorded in Livi's last 13 matches and it comes as no shock that they have the worst defensive home record in the SPL.
This doesn't bode well for Saturday's encounter given the free-scoring Hibees are in town. Out with the Old Firm, Hibs are the SPL's top scorers by some distance.
With December's Young Player of the Month, Derek Riordan, getting better with every game, I fancy Hibs will offensively be too strong for Livingston.
Hibs gaffer, Tony Mowbray, appears to have the school of thought that if they score four, we'll score five.
Whilst this won't be the scoreline this Saturday, I strongly fancy Hibs for a comfortable win.
And at 13/10, a punt on the Hibees looks a great call.
