Hull City v Chelsea
One team is sitting pretty at the top of the table; the other is fighting to stay up in the League.
In fact, the only similarity between the two is that they both will be battling hard for the three points on offer in this game.
If Chelsea win, they will pull further away from their rivals Manchester United and Arsenal. They could take themselves four points clear of United but a loss would allow the Red Devils to keep up the pressure.
Hull City are currently in 19th place, five points ahead of Portsmouth and a home victory will move them out of the relegation zone up to 14th but a defeat would keep them in the in trouble with Burnley, Wolves and Bolton all having a game in hand.
When Hull travelled to Stamford Bridge on the opening day of the season it was Chelsea who took the win, beating the Tigers 2-1.
Phil Brown's men took a shock early lead, but two goals from Didier Drogba ultimately secured maximum points.
Since then, Chelsea have proved a tough team to beat, only dropping four points in their last 17 Premier League games.
It means Hull will have to be in tip-top form if they expect to match up to such strong opponents.
It's not looking bright for the Tigers as the last time they won at home was against Everton in November.
It has been in the second half of their games where they let themselves down with with 14 of the 18 goals conceded in the last seven outings arriving after the interval.
The Blues have scored at least one goal away from home this season, except for the Manchester City game in December when Emmanuel Adebayor was on the scoresheet for the Blues with an own goal.
They look sure to carry on this form and can add to their tally once more at The KC Stadium on Tuesday.
With Chelsea playing host to a London derby against Arsenal on Sunday, Carlo Ancelotti could well rest some of his key personnel once they have got on top of the Hull defence.
Three goals for the away side looks like a decent bet at 10/3 with William Hill.
Verdict: Hull City 0 Chelsea 3
