Sky Bet have opened their betting on who will be the next permanent manager at Middlesbrough following the sacking of Gareth Southgate.

Hot favourite is Gordon Strachan, who was initially put up at 1/2 but that has been cut to 1/3.

Alan Curbishley is second best at 8/1 with Nigel Pearson on offer at 10/1.

Kevin Keegan can be backed at 12s, David O'Leary is a 16/1 chance and then it is 20/1 bar.
