Australia are 6/4 favourites with Sky Bet to win the ICC Champions Trophy after they beat Pakistan by two wickets off the final ball on Wednesday to book a semi-final clash with England.
The Aussies scrambled a bye of the last delivery of a tense game at Centurion to secure the win which not only takes them through as group winners but also ends India's hopes in the process.
Australia won the toss and elected to bowl and it appeared to be the right decision as they restricted Pakistan to 205 for six, Mohammad Yousuf top-scoring with 45.
And at 140 for two in reply, Ricky Ponting's side appeared to be cruising to victory but then came a spectacular collapse.
Ponting fell, soon to be followed by Callum Ferguson and when Mike Hussey went for 64 the alarm bells were ringing with James Hopes, Cameron White and Mitchell Johnson then all getting out for single-figure scores.
At that stage 19 runs were still required with two wickets in hand, but Brett Lee and Nathan Hauritz steered Australia home.
They will now meet England, who they thrashed 6-1 in the recent NatWest series, in the first semi on Friday while Pakistan will play New Zealand in Saturday's second last-four game.
Pakistan are the 9/4 second favourites to claim the title while England are rated as third favourites at 4/1 with the Black Cats regarded the outsiders at 9/2.
On Tuesday New Zealand had topped Group B thanks to a four-wicket triumph over England at the Wanderers - a result which also eliminated Sri Lanka from the competition.
West Indies and hosts South Africa are the other teams to have missed out on a place in the last four.
